BNI Philosophy: Givers Gain
BNI is predicated on the concept of: "What goes around, comes around; if I help you, you'll help me, and we'll both benefit as a result". Members operate as a marketing team.
Success in BNI means you need to be a positive and supportive member of your team, committed to your fellow members, and to the philosophy; "Givers Gain".
If you want to get quality business you have to give quality business to other business people in you chapter.
Code of Ethics
- I will provide the quality of services at the prices that I have quoted.
- I will be truthful with the members and their referrals.
- I will build goodwill and trust among members and their referrals.
- I will take responsibility for following up on the referrals I receive.
- I will live up to the ethical standards of my profession.
- I will display a positive and supportive attitude with the members of my chapter.
What You Should Know
Only one person from each professional specialty is permitted to join a chapter of BNI.
All participants should represent their primary occupation, not a part-time business.
Attendance is critical. If you cannot attend a meeting, you may send a substitute. This will not count as an absence.
Participation in the chapter by members is a key to the success of a group. Members can participate by bringing bona-fide referrals and/or visitors to their BNI chapter.
